Vinod has been a performing artist in the US since 1999. While in India, Vinod was an approved artist at the All India Radio Stations and Doordarshan Kendras. He inherited his musical talent from his mother, who also was a trained vocalist. Vinod started his singing career at the age of 3, by winning a first prize in a music competition. He has since won a number of prestigious awards at the All India level music competitions from eminent personalities. He has received wide coverage in major newspapers across India. Vinod has learned Carnatic Classical music for 9 year and one of his graduation is in Music (Carnatic). He has also learned Hindustani Classical music for 3 years.
Vinod has co-founded a band in midwest US, called the ‘Exit167 Band’. Vinod not only performs live in concerts with his band, but also co-produces music albums and singles under the band’s banner. Vinod firmly believes that ‘Music is Divine and it truly liberates the one who is blessed with this divinity’. Vinod not only sings in various Indian languages and in a wide variety of Indian music genres ; be it Bollywood music, Ghazal, Bhajan or Geet, but he also handles Sufi style of singing with similar ease. Keeping the music tradition alive in his family, Vinod has also recorded a song with his elder son, Akshay, to be released soon. Vinod’s wife Abha and both their boys (Akshay and Aryan) are his ardent music lovers and supporters!

With his motto “Let’s make People Better”, he dedicates his life to identifying & honing the “Creative Arts” in Young Kids & Adults alike. Through his company “Creative Clouds”, he conducts Live Songwriting classes via
SKYPE weekly, instructing students on how to compose, write & sing song their own original songs. And film music videos for their songs. He helps to identify & nurture originality in every singer. He also directs & films music videos for local American Bands. He picked up his first guitar at the age of 10, and have been composing melodies in English, Hindi & regional languages for 3 decades. He believes there is no music without his family. His wife Babitha, and his girls Nikky & Diya are pillars of his strength.

Sreejith Krishnan | Managing Director, The Artiste | Singer | Composer | Vocal Coach | Performing Artist

A trained Carnatic classical singer and performer, Sreejith has been performing since the age of 10. He performs regularly in Indian festivals and events across the Midwest. Sreejith had competed in various Television shows in Southern India, and was a finalist in the show Ragamalika and Paadum Office. He has won various corporate events for best male singing, also won the best Male singer in the coveted IIT Madras ‘Saarang’. He has also rendered his voice for various Tamil movie songs and jingles. Music composing is a passion that he wants to pursue. Sreejith was also part of various music bands in Chennai until he moved to the US. Currently stays out of Bloomington IL. Married with two kids, he also gives lessons in Carnatic music to students.
